Literature Text
and just as you let me trace my fingers
along the placidness of your porcelain skin
I feel belonging in a sense,
a shelter for my savage monster
a realm of burning inhibitions
a comfort, as if it were inborn within.
and if my right to make decisions,
would suddenly not be a right,
but a blessing I would no longer be given,
I would still, forever I believe,
long for a dream I’d have never experienced
of you on whiter snowy sheets .
and as my fingers tear and scrape
the abyssal embrace of demons
you’d scream and gulp and beg for more,
devastating, yes indeed,
if it were not me to make us crumble
but others and their circumstances of such future.
along the placidness of your porcelain skin
I feel belonging in a sense,
a shelter for my savage monster
a realm of burning inhibitions
a comfort, as if it were inborn within.
and if my right to make decisions,
would suddenly not be a right,
but a blessing I would no longer be given,
I would still, forever I believe,
long for a dream I’d have never experienced
of you on whiter snowy sheets .
and as my fingers tear and scrape
the abyssal embrace of demons
you’d scream and gulp and beg for more,
devastating, yes indeed,
if it were not me to make us crumble
but others and their circumstances of such future.
probably the most positive poem I ever wrote
